Are you accepting new patients?

What are your office hours? Are you open on Saturdays?
We're open Monday, Tuesday, and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and closed Wednesday and Sunday. Thursday (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) and Saturday (8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.) alternate week to week, so please call (808) 596-2553 to confirm the date you have in mind — we're happy to check for you.
Do you see children and the whole family?
Absolutely. Dr. Wong is a general and family dentist who cares for patients of every age, so your whole ʻohana can be seen in one welcoming office. She's especially passionate about making dental visits easy and positive for keiki, and volunteers each year at Give Kids A Smile.
What dental insurance do you accept?
We accept most PPO dental plans. Bring your insurance information to your first visit, or share it when you call, and we're glad to help verify your coverage and explain your benefits before any treatment. Don't have insurance? That's no problem — we welcome uninsured patients and will talk through your options openly. Call (808) 596-2553 with any questions.
Do you treat dental emergencies?
Yes. If you're dealing with a toothache, a broken or knocked-out tooth, swelling, or a lost filling or crown, call us at (808) 596-2553 as soon as you can and we'll work to see you promptly and get you comfortable. (If you have trouble breathing or swallowing, uncontrolled bleeding, or a serious facial injury, call 911 or go to the nearest ER.)
I get nervous at the dentist. Is Dr. Wong gentle with anxious patients?
You're in good hands. Dr. Wong is known for her gentle, unhurried approach and takes real time to explain things, answer questions, and keep you comfortable at every step. As she puts it, "We know that the dental office can be an intimidating place, so we make it our goal to treat patients like our own family." If you're nervous, just let us know — we'll go at your pace.
What dental services do you offer?
Dr. Wong provides gentle general and family dentistry — exams and cleanings, composite fillings, children's and family dentistry, periodontal treatment, night guards, and care for dental emergencies — along with restorative dentistry including crowns and bridges, dentures and partials, and tooth extractions. Curious about cosmetic options like whitening or clear aligners? Ask us at your visit and we'll be glad to talk through what's right for your smile.
How do I book an appointment?
Two easy ways: request an appointment through the form on our website, or call the office at (808) 596-2553. Let us know a few times that work for you and whether you're a new patient, and we'll take care of the rest.
What should I bring to my first visit?
Please bring a photo ID, your dental insurance card (if you have one), and a list of any medications you take. There are no forms to print ahead of time — new-patient paperwork can be completed at the office when you arrive, or we can send it to you in advance. Just ask when you call.
